We suggest you to do this:

1. try with the dmx line disconnected (nothing plugged to the dmx output of the interface)
If the interface is found again, it means the problem comes from the dmx line.

2. try with a powered usb hub
If the interface is found again, it means the usb power of your computer is too weak

3. if your computer is Windows based, try with a Mac computer
If the interface is found again, it means there is a usb driver problem on your Windows computer.
