Crash - open "Fixture Properties" in second monitor [fixed]

Post by SeekLighting »

For some reason now in this particular show file (and this show file only!), when I open the Fixture Properties window in 3d view, the whole of 3d view hangs and crashes. This sometimes also causes ShowXpress itself to crash.

Lightshow file attached.

Running version 8.2.19 on Windows 10

It does not crash with our Windows 10.
Can you please post a video showing the problem ?

Hi Support,

I found out the issue is only occuring when I open 3D view and the Fixture Properties window on a second monitor, close ShowXpress, then open ShowXpress again with 3D view (and the fixture properties window) opening on the second monitor by default. This causes it to crash. However on a single display it works fine

Hi Support & Niffo,

Sorry I never replied to this one. You can close this issue now, I resolved it myself, found it was an issue with my display adaptor and the way I had the multiple windows set up. All good now!
