In the discussions regarding sequential cues the above preferences have been noted. Will this also be extended to the whole program. For example, Live Buttons Page 1 in one window, Timeline in another window, and Editor in another.?

Sorry, but not for now.
FYI : we got so many requirements during years (with V6), about people who wanted to have all in one single window.
We have to satisfy the mass ("one monitor" users (laptop)).
However, we understand that "two/three monitors" pro users might prefer all in separate windows.
Hum, not easy indeed to satisfy all users.

Well... what's the problem with multiple windows if you can open/tile/resize all of them together OR one, two... ? What's the advantage of tabs ???
edit: one example that comes to mind (I'm a "sound" before a "light" engineer, sorry !) is Wavelab from Steinberg where you can open multiple Sound files together and cascade or tile them at will...
