cant load mp4's into my timeline(missing codec

I use video when I DJ in mp4 file format how do I get it to load into the timeline? Thanks everybody

We suggest you to install the free Codec pack K-Lite.

So there is another problem between the media file and the OS player.

Reminder: the software does not play & decode the media file by itself ; it just asks the OS to play it.

We suggest you to convert the file in another format, that the OS player is able to read.
