Suggestion: Make a priority assignment option for buttons. For example:
LOCK: Nothing overrides button, including "freeze".
HIgh: Same as LOCK, expect "freeze" will still override it.
Normal/LTP: Last takes priority
Low: Overrides nothing. Only channels not in use by another button function.
If two buttons, with the same priority are selected: last takes priority.

Seconded
but I think hard to do...
But this would enable things like mirror balls and smoke machines to work even when using ctrl-"Key trigger".

Re: Suggestion: Button Priority...
I kind of like this, too. I have numerous LED Par Can color combinations with Red, Green & Blue set to various levels and the overall dimmer set to 100% and then only a few chase patters which typically take that channel used for the overall dimmer and move it between 100% and 0% depending on the chase pattern. This would allow me to change colors that are being chased by leaving the chase button on in Live and just chaning the color combination button.
If you can make whatever channels are active in a priority button like the priority between Live and Editor, I think you might have something, there.

Bump.
I could really use this feature. I sometimes use a couple of my moving lights as spotlights. If there's any possibility that I may want to use any of my other moving lights for there regular program (s), while I'm "spotting", I have to open the spotlight program in Editor. This isn't so bad except only 1 program can be open in Editor at a time.
Thanks,

Add me to the list. I would use it at dimmer levels on fixtures that have separate dimmer vs. Red, Green, Blue levels. Often, I create the color scene and then use a separate sceene in live with the intensity.
