Difference between ShowXpress and Sweetlight?

Is there a difference between Chauvet ShowXpress and Sweetlight?
I'm on a Mac, using a Chauvet-branded 512 interface.
I'd like to upgrade to whatever the current stable release is. The Chauvet site says 6.33 is still beta.
Should I switch over to the Sweetlight version? Does it matter?
