Trying to figure out the Fader Button.
When a button is changed to be a fader button, what does the slider in the live screen above the button actually control?
For example, I'm trying to change a scene that is only controlling a bunch of dimmer channels and I have not been able to figure out how to make the slider that appears for the fader button affect the DMX channel output. No matter what i've tried so far the value stays at the level in the scene.
This is a one (1) step scene. I did try creating a new scene with two steps but that did not seem to make any difference.
Can someone please clue me in if this is even possible and help me figure out how to make this work?
How works the Fader Button ? [fixed]
Re: Fader Button
You need to add a second step in the scene. Sliders will change the DMX value between the values in the first and last step in the scene.
So... if you want the slider to output from dmx 0 to dmx 128, your first step in the scene the fader button should be set to 0, and the last step of the scene needs to be set to 128.
