Any risk of losing files by installing new version ?

I have been using version 6.3 beta for the last 6 months and have built an extensive library of fixture definitions, dmx patches, and lightshow programs. If I install version 6.3 does it simply overwrite and replace the beta version and I can continue to use the fixture definitions, patches, and light shows that exist already or is the install going to be in addition to the beta and will not retain any of the fixture definitions, patches, and programs I already have?

A new software is supposed to not affect any lightshow, since the lightshows are stored in another folder.
To avoid any risk, just:
- copy/paste your lightshows in another location
- rename the folder of your existing software, and install the new version
