COLORstrip white in 3D view when set to off [fixed]
COLORstrip white in 3D view when set to off [fixed]
This has been a problem for quite some time, but I decided to post it to see if there is any solution. My COLORstrips show as white light in the 3D view when they're set to no_function on the color channel. Is there anyway to set that no_function to a blackout or just to NOT have this light project white when it's in no_function mode? One older post suggested to change the channel from color to color_macro, which works, but then adds more unwanted characteristics to the 3D display of the fixture than this issue.

Re: COLORstrip white in 3D view when set to off
The upload feature will not allow attachments with the extension .txt on it. I even removed the .txt and it will not accept it.
Re: COLORstrip white in 3D view when set to off
One thing to note is that the personality file (COLORstrip.txt) for the COLORstrip I am using is the original file that comes with Showxpress.

Yes, the first channel must not have the name "color".
Please use the attached file.

Re: COLORstrip white in 3D view when set to off [fixed]
The problem is that the first channel is labeled as "color" when it should be "mode." The profiles have been revised and are attached. I will have them included in the next software release so everyone will have them as well.

Re: COLORstrip white in 3D view when set to off [fixed]
I was having the same issue. I downloaded the most recent profiles from the Chauvet website, removed the lights completely, set them back up using the correct profile and now where "Color" was, "Mode" is. When I select a mode, nothing happens, but when I change the other levels, the color selected will change, regardless of what mode is set. Any suggestions?
