I installed ShowXPress on my Windows 7 Home Premium PC about 4 months ago, about two weeks ago it crashed, so I tried to open 'control board' but nothing happerned, so I reinstalled it, and it still wouldn't open, so I installed ShowXPress(v6.30) on my Windows 7 Home Premium laptop, and it worked for two minutes then crashed and wouldn't open, so I installed v6.29, but it still didn't work, so I tried it on my Windows vista PC and did exactly the same, Any help?
Thanks.

Re: Not working on Windows Vista and Windows 7
May be your lightshow is corrupted (which could occur a ControlBoard crash) (?)
To check that, we need ControlBoard does not load automatically your lightshow ; please do this:
- search the folder "../TheLightingController/Lightshow/"
- in this folder, find your current lightshow folder and rename it
- restart ControlBoard
Then there should be no lightshow in ControlBoard (no icons in Editor, no buttons in Live, ...).
And please let us know if ControlBoard is still crashing.
We suggest also to make tests without any connected dmx interface.

Thanks

Re: Not working on Windows Vista and Windows 7
Please send us a copy of the complete folder "../TheLightingController/".
We will try to understand the problem, and then to recover your lightshow.
