ControlBoard won't open [fixed]

Hello there, I have had the same problem as those above with Control Board not opening. The icon bounces continuously, eventually ending up staying still but as you click it, it goes away. A right click says the application is not responding. As others have had the same problems in the past days, it must not be our computers. Is there a solution here? Thanks
