Using Two of Same MIDI Controller Not Working

Hi,

I recently bought two custom MIDI controllers. They show up as "OpenDeck | PMJ_Cabaret" when plugged into other softwares, but in ShowXpress each controller shows up as two separate controllers: "OpenDeck" and "PMJ_Cabaret" and then for the second controller "OpenDeck" and "PMJ_Cabaret #2". I don't get any signal when selecting the PMJ_Cabaret option. The OpenDeck option works as it should for MIDI triggering, but I can't get any signal from the second controller (also named OpenDeck). I'm thinking that since they are the same name, that is causing the issue. Is there any way to fix this? I think the possible issue is that the controller name has the "|" in it.
