Sorry, I have read the thread and see that it looks like it depends on my version of software and where I have files saved.

I recently started using ShowXpress again, but I created a password a few years ago and now I can't remember it.

Can anyone help me understand how to reset or change the password? I'm referring to the admin password.

Many thanks for your reply.
I can not find the:
param.ini
I've also tried uninstalling and re-installing the software, but that didn't work either, as it saved all my data.
Your help is much appreciated.

ok found param.ini deleted it, saved changes, but no change.
Still asks for my password?!
please what do you recommend?
will try restarting computer.

Ok This time, I left the word password and deleted the characters after it.
And it worked.
