I want to be able to name a light show when I import it.

I have existing “master showfile” with typical fixture addresses / universes. When I go to one venue, addresses change. When I go to another venue, universes change too.

I propose being able to import my master show file and rename it when importing.

You can simply open the lightshow folder (main menu > "File" > "Open lightshow folder").
Then duplicate the folder which has the name of your lightshow, and rename it.

I know it sounds quick and easy. But “in the field” when time counts - I promise that “import as..” would be much faster and easier to keep track of. I didn’t suggest it just for fun, I mentioned it because it would be beneficial to workflow through new venues
