The Lighting Controller
Re: Shehds - 275w 10R Moving Head Light
Anyyone know why these lights don't seem to save DMX mode settings? Not sure what I am doing wrong. I set the address and mode to dmx. It works but then if I turn it off and on again, the light never turns on again. The light moves and goes through the programmed movements but doesn't light up again. I have to change the program mode to something else, then back to DMX. Any suggestions?
Also what are the different DMX modes ?

Judging by your description, this fixture uses a traditional discharge lamp that must be "lamped on". Ie, the bulb inside needs to be turned on separately, via a DMX command. There's usually a particular level on the "control" of "function" channel that will do this. Have you been lamping on your fixture?MJF9579 wrote: It works but then if I turn it off and on again, the light never turns on again. Hi, I'd just like to ask if anyone here knows why the default position of PAN on startup is facing the right side (the handle side) instead of facing the side of the screen. Is there any way to configure this such that the head faces the screen on power on? Thank you.

Yes. Use the fixture's onboard menu to invert the tiltcyberbuddha wrote:Hi, I'd just like to ask if anyone here knows why the default position of PAN on startup is facing the right side (the handle side) instead of facing the side of the screen.
