interface problem

I installed the showexpress software on a MAC and connected to a X-press rack 1024 and get next error: "there is an incompatible interface, please remove it"

I am sure I am using the correct software for the hardware. Can there be any other things causing this problem?

we are using a Chauvet Xpress rack 1024 with the Chauvet Showexpress software on MAC.
