please need help with master fader addon in Live

I need a way to control the live master general intensity in a led club application
situation.

I know live is not ready for this but I wonder if dmx in with and external mixer
can help-

can you explain deeply dmx in feature and the 3 modes to understand them?
cause manual help let me confused

Most LED fixtures I have run into have overal dimmer channels. You could create a scene with all of those channels. Unfortunately, an overall dimmer on all channels would also affect any motion-based fixtures, strobe channels and colors you created.
