Showxpress won't open

i installed version 8228 and when i opened it with my dongle plugged in, it says there was no interface found. I went under device manager and installed the latest driver for 8228 version. When i went back to launch the application again, it says that the thelightcontroller.exe has stopped working. i noticed also that each time i uninstall the driver the showxpress application opens with no interface found and when i install it, the application stops working each time. anyone else in the group experience this as well? I have also attached the event log with this post

In order to know if the problem comes froms your lightshow/software/driver, or if it comes from the computer, could you please try on another computer, and let us know the result ?
