Hi Support,

Just downloaded the latest build and am running it in 64 Bits mode. Some feedback.

- The tabs in the "Fixtures settings" window are much easier to see now!
- The new layout of the "Generator Fixtures" window is also much better. However, it would be great if there was a "randomise order of fixtures" button!!
- There are still white lines joining cloned fixtures together. Can these lines be removed for cloned fixtures (or at least turned off?)
- When running 3D View with Open GL Compatibility turned ON, the brightness is always very high, even with the brightness slider in "Stage Settings" turned all the way down. Is there a way to make the 3D View a bit darker?
- Reverse Iris function still not fixed on Iris channels that have more than one function on the channel.

For the Graphics glitches:

I am running the 64Bit ShowXpress build on my main PC.
Running 3D View on my internal (intel) graphics card with OpenGL Compatibility turned OFF works *mostly* fine, with a few small glitches.
Running 3D View on my intel graphics card with Open GL Compatibility turned ON works perfectly, but looks much lower quality.
Running 3D View on my NVidia Grahpics card with Open GL Compatibility turned OFF creates the same green pixelated grahpics glitches I showed earlier
Running 3D VIew on my NVidia Graphics card with Open GL Compatibility turned ON works perfectly, but looks much lower quality.

I will make a video later showing these glitches. I am happy to run in Open GL Compatibility mode if need be, but it doesn't look very good by comparison to the new render. Really the only major thing I want from the render is that lower brightness. Is there a way this can be achieved??

It works here. Please try to uncheck the "reverse iris" function and save. And check again and save.
If still not working, please post a link to download your lightshow. We will check it.

"OpenGL Compatibility" is necessary for "not real" graphic cards like "Intel".
"OpenGL 3.2+" needs recent drivers for the graphic cards. Please try to update the drivers of your NVidia grahic card.

+1 for the "randomize fixture order" button.
A simple button would help especially when selecting numerous fixtures at the same time.

Edit:
3DView - There are still white lines joining cloned fixtures together
Also, when selecting one of the cloned fixtures in 3DView's fixture settings (for example, to change its position) all the clones are picked, not allowing to move each clone independently from the other.

Really the only major thing I want from the render is that lower brightness. Is there a way this can be achieved??
@TimH have you tried setting object's colour, as they still have the "base colour", even when textured to black (Object settings > colour> Red 0, Green 0, Blue 0)? That should give a darker feel. Hope it helps.

Definitely +1 for random fixture order.

The new layout looks great. Keep up the good work support. I can't wait till I have the time to play around with it. I'll definitely try to get things up and running at the club next weekend.

I set my fixtures to about 50-50-50, I found 0-0-0 was TOO dark for my liking, just looked unrealistic. To me the non-OpenGL render in V9 is brighter than the render in V8 but I might be wrong. I think as well that the objects and the room in V9 non-OpenGL look brighter than in V8 but again, could be just me.

An update btw @Support: I've updated my graphics card drivers and now the OpenGL render seems to work just fine! No glitches at all *EXCEPT* when I use about 3 very specific gobos, which still does an odd reflection around the room thing. I'll create a video later.
