request - option "Manual BPM x 2"

When using manual bpm, the 1/1 option changes the steps within the scene on each beat. The 1/2 option changes the step every 2 beats and the 1/4 option changes the step every 4 beats. Is there a way to change the steps twice for every one beat (e.g. a 2/1 option)? Obviously I can change the bpm, but looking for a more automated solution. Thanks
