[Bug] Master-fader and midi note v8.2.4 [fixed]

Post by thorehl »

As with buttons, I like having buttons light up when things are ON.
So i tried on my APC:
Assigned Master fader 2 (In): Control 48 /
Assigned Master fader 2 (Out): Note 64, D2on 1, D2off 0

This doesn't work, but it does if I do the same on Speed fader.

And why is it, when i assign a Master fader, it only controls the dimmer from -100% to 0% and the area from 0 to 100% is unused?

We do not see this problem here, with our APC mini.

Tried some more...
Turns out, Master fader 2 (Out) values aren't stored induvidualy.
If I save as above, go back in all is ok but it doesn't work.
Exit program, restart program the values are changed to:
: Control 48, Auto, Auto
rather than
: Note 64, D2on 1, D2off 0

Well you have my showfile from the other post (Midnight Special.zip)
You can test.

[Edit]
Tested some more...
-100% = 000 DMX value
-50% = 128 DMX value
0% = 255 DMX value
50% = 255 value
100% = 255 value
this is weird behavor, as only 50% of the fysical fader movment is used

Thanks.
Now it's loading correct values, but midi commands are not.
If i set D2on/D2off
: 1/0 lamp is constantly light
: 0/1 lamp is constantly off
Midi controller fader movment doesn't affect lamps on controller (as if midi out isn't working for master fader) but if i use the mouse lamps turn on or off depending on what D2on/off is set to.
