Push "play" via midi

I want our drummer to be able to push the play button n sweet light via midi. (We have a computer backstage running a LED screen w a synced light show. So he would have to push play in the beginning of each song).

We are using an iMac and the midi device would be a Alesis drum trigger connected to the computer via usb.

Is this possible? and if so... how?

In the tab "Live", Midi is linked only to the tab "buttons".
We suggest you to create a button linked to the timeline.

In tab "Live - Buttons", open the "page" popup menu and select "Add TimeLine".
