Pallettes and Fixture Based Programming
Re: Pallettes and Fixture Based Programming
I sure would like to hear how well an Alpha instable version works in a show setting. Good luck.

V8 is an Alpha version ; it is not ready to be used for a real show.
And remember that your V8 lightshow might not be readable by V7.
So please do not use V8 for your coming lightshow.

Re: Pallettes and Fixture Based Programming
My apologies.. I must have used poor wording on my last comment. I did absolutely NOT use V8 to run a live show. I barely had enough time to download, install, and open the new software. We had two large events on the same night that we ran V7 for and everything worked flawlessly as expected.
I am hoping to spend some time playing around with V8 in the near future. We haven't had any time to mess around with it yet, at least not as in depth as needed.
Thanks
-Josh
