Change BPM code only for TimeLine, and at the end have different BPM codes between Live->Buttons and Live->TimeLine !
This does not sound very clean.

In that case, it might be easier to add a manual BPM entry box for each scene, in the property window (?)
You will have to calculate and enter yourself the exact BPM, and then this will be done forever (?)

nice idea, I would quite like timeline to have a "tempo map" that "remembers" the tempo I am tapping. Or a thing that looks like a scene but actually stores a tempo so I dont have to tap the tempo every time I run the timeline and every time the song changes tempo.

TimeLine -> possibility to fix a specific BPM for each "scene block", in its property window
Added in TODO list.

In the new beta version, it is now possible to set a specific manual BPM, for each media file.
This option is available in both Live->Buttons and Live->TimeLine.

Additionally, a BPM tool is available that you can place everywhere in the TimeLine

It is a shame these DJ programs do not export out the BPM to lighting programs. I use OtsAV that embeds the BPM as part of the OTS file it generates and yes, it even sets the BPM on music videos.

Some years ago, we approched a DJ software and we asked them about possibility to get the BPM from their software. They ignored us (light is a too small business in front of audio). We encourage you to give pressure to these DJ software to open this door (this function is indeed very easy to add in their software).
