Daisy Chain Akai APC40 and APCkey25?

Hey,
I have been mapping everything to my APC40 just bought an APCkey25 and it seems I can only run one controller at a time.
I am trying to force them to the same input using Audio MIDI set up for mac with not much luck. Would love some input about how to get both these controllers running at the same time. Software feels like I need to find a "trick" to make this happen. Anyone got any tricks?
