Nice new proposition. Just to be sure: the fade in & out are in fact "cross-fades" I suppose? I mean that when you push the "go" button, the fade in of the next scene already starts simultaneously with the fade out of the current scene?
Another question: how do you handle the order of the scenes? We need to be able to freely cut/insert/move scene positions inside this new window. Thanks already ;-)

Yes, it will fade like that.

Yes, this will be possible.

OK, something else: I noticed that the new "cues" window uses a new tab in the main "Live" window. It would be very interesting to be able to see all available windows simultaneously, freely sizeable (automatically resized would be an added bonus), for example a "timeline" at the bottom, "buttons" left and the new "cues" windows right.
And another wish: make the current active cue automatically available in the Editor as well: this would make instant editing possible.
Thanks again 8-)

In order to keep the software multi-OS with our development tools, we have to decide, before starting coding, if it will be in a new tab in Live (like "Buttons#1", "Buttons#2" and "TimeLine"), or in an external window (like "Buttons window").

From my point of view, I have never been in favour of tabs. I would prefer to have numerous child windows which I could size individually as I see fit. This would allow me to see a timeline and my buttons at the same time. It still requires a mouse click to activate a tab or a window. The software would be a lot more suitable to individual needs with windows, rather than tabs.

Noted: 2 for "external window" and 0 for "new tab"

Questions:
- do you have only one monitor, and even with only one monitor, you prefer "external window" ?
- do you you prefer "external window" because you always have more than one monitor. And if you had only one monitor, you might prefer "new tab" ?

I usually have only one monitor (working on a 15.6" or 17" laptop) and still I vote for external, freely sizeable windows, not tabs: this really gives a faster action.
When at home I often use a second monitor but most of the time the second one serves for the 3D window only.

I vote for "new tab" (although I preferred the stand alone as all modules in version 6 ...)

I think it is more comfortable in case of need of changes real time both with a monitor that with two monitors (I use both setup according to the need)

Floatable windows and or pages would be a definite plus factor...
I use two screens with one of them a touchscreen and 32 plus pages to juggle between a child window and 2 tabs
It would help when needing bigger Faders/Sliders (Optionally Vertical :o ) for particular buttons... Especially those new "Macro Sliders" Ha!
A floating Master page with Master Faders would be great ! :D
