Midi timeline required [fixed]

I have been wanting to control an external effects unit using midi on a timeline in live much the same way as adding scenes.
Can this be achieved?
Example.
I want a reverb to come on in bar 2 along with a light scene then another plate effect in bar 8
can I send a midi message to an external effects unit to achieve this?

You should be able to add ".mid" files in the TimeLine.
