Still a request:
In old Software Version (6.34 / Live preferences) it was possible to "Lock Screen" and to add an "Admin password".
That was very fine cause we often hire out some PC's with different lightshows.
So clients couldn't destroy the shows very quick.
New Software is without such passwords.
Is it possible to reactivate thus?
Well:
Start Sweetlight
Goto "File-preferences"
Select "Auto select tab Live" and/or "Show only tab Live" and... set a password.
Next time when Sweetlight is started it will ask for the password if you want to change the file preferences.
In the actual status it's easy to do this by going back to "File-preferences"
Furthermore the "Lock Screen" and the "Admin password" would be fine.
greetings

Re: Password & Lock
As we said here viewtopic.php?f=72&t=3397 ,
we think that the most important is there is at least one protection level.
If your client wants to access the other tabs, he has to take the responsability to desactivate the protection.
In other words, he takes this responsibility, then if any problem later, this will be his fault.
We think that an additional protection level (like basic password) will not change anything.
If your client really want to access the others tabs, he will find how to hack to password.

Re: Password & Lock
1, I would have a contract w/ client stating an absurd amount of fee be charged for any change of leased show
2, export a copy of the show before leasing it to a client

Re: Password & Lock
"Add 'lock & password' in menu 'Preferences'" noted in ToDo list anyway, because not difficult to set up.
