Press midi button does not lit the button with APC40 [fixed]

I've set up the inputs and outputs and it works as it always has.

One issue I have is that if I trigger the scene from the computer screen (mouse click), the button on the APC40 will light green and stay lit to indicate that the scene in "on".

However, when I use the APC40 button the indicate the scene, the button on the APC40 does not stay lit.

Not sure how to correct this. It appears that the output is only generated when the button is clicked and not when the APC40 triggers the button.

Any help or direction is appreciated.

i dont have problem with this using the korg nano kontrol...

the APC have a configuration software like the nanokontrol? because at first i use to have the same problem. But i re-configured the nanokontrol and send "notes"... problem solved!!!

Can you please double-check the settings of your midi device ?

Turns out it's a much deeper problem getting these to communicate effectively.

I've solved my problem by implementing Midi-OX, Midi Yoke, and Bomes midi translator so that I can have them "talk" to each other. Some buttons send "on", others send "on" then "off" messages and this creates an issue in Showxpress as it is looking for "on".

APC is more complicated than just simple buttons as it transmits certain messages and those can't be changed. So you have to interpret everything for it.

Was a pain, but seems to work well now.
