How many fixtures for one dimmer pack ?

i am thinking of buying a http://www.bulbamerica.com/4-channel-DM ... 7-prod.htm dimmer system to control some Par 56s.

the cable only allows for a max of 10 fixtures. Now how many "Fixtures" does a dimmer pack count has. My rig currently has Two ADJ DJ Scan 250ex's (10 chan total) and One Electrol 86 Par 36 (4 chan total). That is 14 Chann used out of the 100. When i add the Dimmer Pack i will be at 18 Channels, butw ill i be at 4 "Fixtures" or 7 (assuming 1 par per chan)?

If you create one single personality file having 4 channels for the dimmer pack, this will add only one fixture (total 4 fixtures).

i got this to work with my 4 par cans... however, is there a way that i can make this work in the 3D mode, since the software just things i have one unknown fixture with 4 channels.

You must declare a parcan fixture, to see it in the 3D rendering.
