The Lighting Controller

With the new 1024w interface, I had to download the new software version 9.4.1 because the previous versions do not detect the interface. I am now facing a very serious problem: this software version is not sending MIDI out, which means I cannot synchronize my shows. Until now, everything was working perfectly.

I urgently need a patch for this issue, please! I have two hotels that depend on this fix, with 15 shows in each hotel.

The DMX interface management in our software has nothing to do with the midi management.
Please tell the version of the previous used software, explain the problem with more details, and post a ZIP to download your lightshow (https://forum.thelightingcontroller.com ... .php?t=168).

I apologize, I didn’t mean MIDI Out… I meant MIDI In. Version 9.4.1 does not receive MIDI In. It does send MIDI Out, but when synchronizing my shows with QLab and sending MIDI to the lighting controller, the software is not accepting MIDI.

I have tested this with previous versions (in fact, I have more than 15 lighting controllers with older versions and 512 and 1080 interfaces working this way), but when using the new version with the 1080W interface—which does not allow me to work with older versions and only supports 9.4.1—I am unable to receive MIDI.

And what is the version of our software which sees the Midi incoming messages ?

All previous versions receive MIDI; the version that does not receive MIDI is version 9.4.1.

Version 9.4.00 receives midi, and version 9.4.1 not ?

Last version we where using was 9.3.21 and it was working fine, if there is a way to download the 9.4.0 i can test it but again it must be supporting the D1080W couse its the lates interface we buy. Thanks for you help

Please tell us what you see in the window "main menu" > "Windows" > "Midi logger" of both versions.
Do you see all incoming midi messages with V9.3.21 ?
Do you see 0 incoming midi messages with V9.4.0 ?

Exactly, on V9.3.21 ever midi input tigger the right buttons but on V9.4.1 nothing works.
On "main menu" > "Windows" > "Midi logger" there is nothing showing up.

We have currently no idea what could be the problem because midi works well here with V9.4.3 (we do not have V9.4.0 anymore) under Windows 11.

We do not think this will change, but to be sure could you please check with V9.4.3 ?
