Selecting Multiple Steps at once for modification

Is there a way to select multiple steps at once to modify the channel value of those selected steps? Example: I have a 20 step scene that is currently set to display a star gobo through all 20 steps. Is there a way to select steps 1-10 so that I can change them all to a square gobo without going through step 1-10 individually and changing the gobo channel for each one? I know I can use "set value of channel on all steps" to change the value for ALL the steps in the scene. But what if I want to change the value for a selected group of steps in the scene without going through each one individually? Thanks in advance!

Sorry but this is presently not possible.
As you said, it is possible to either change value for all steps, or only for one step.

I wish this feature was possible too. You can't even open up your .sce files in a text editor and manually change them.

I would like a simpler editor for the .SCE files, too, for copy/pastes I have to do. For instance, if I want to reset a channel for several scenes to nothing, it can be a pain to open each scene up, reset the channel and then save it.

This would also be nice because you could select a group of steps and invert to mirror chases.
Example:
step 1: X{}{}{}
step 2: {}X{}{}
step 3: {}{}X{}
step 4: {}{}{}X
You could play the steps out, copy and paste, then invert selection ...
1,2,3,4,4,3,2,1
=
X{}{}{}
{}X{}{}
{}{}X{}
{}{}{}X
{}{}{}X
{}{}X{}
{}X{}{}
X{}{}{}
This could save LOTS of time during programming, especially having the ability to copy and paste from one scene to another!
