lIVE NOT WORKING

I've been programming some scenes and chases in showxpress and every time I import them into the live feature they never seem to work when I create the button. Can someone help me ASAP. 
Did you disabled dmx (or 3d view) on the editor/pixels/generator tabs. The editor/pixels/generator tabs will over ride the live tabs.
