When I choose fade out on a scene it makes it where that scene is no longer on at all.

Example. I have front pars on for 2 minutes. after 2 minutes I have the" "off command" to turn them off and go blank. I don't want an abrupt off, so I right click, properties on the scene, click fade out, and now in the timeline when it gets to that scene, the lights do not come on at all (they do when I have fade out unchecked)

Not real sure what would cause this? I have upgraded to the most recent SW.

Please confirm the channels are dimmable channels.

The fade-out settings in buttons will not work in timelines. You will have to make a scene that fades out for timeline.

Its definitely dimmable. Its a RGBW LED light with a dimmer channel.

I will try creating a scene to dim out. That's kind of a pain when there is a check box to "fade out".

The fade-out is only for buttons, but I suggest you try the sequential list and see if that suits your requirements

The "fade out" checkbox was recently added in TimeLine, we will check if something goes wrong ...

Is this fade out as per live settings, or can each scene have a fade out value?

There is only one fade in/out time for both Live Buttons and Live TimeLine.
In Sequential List, there is one fade in plus one fade out time, for each line.

After checking, fade out works here.
But the scene must not be followed by another scene in the same timeline, otherwise the next scene cuts the previous one.
