I've noticed that already in V7 a button with a media file stays On. Also in V8
The button won't switch Off neither if "No Loop Button" is selected.
I know that the software didn't play the file.
It tell's windows to play that file.
But why doesn't it switch off with preference "No Loop Button"??
Maybe it's highly probable that the software gets no feedback from windows?

Yes, you are right.
Under Windows, "No Loop Button" says to the OS media player "play it one time only".
But since our software does not receive any "end of playing" message from the player, it is not able to switch off the button.
We presently do not have any solution for that.

OK, no solution for V7
But in V8 we have the possibility to switch off a button after X-seconds.
If the Media file isn't too long and length of it well known I can use this option.
We use Media Files only for sound effects in theatres.
