Controlling fader button with Midi rotary button

Hi!

I have a Elation Midicon Pro for controlling Sweetlight, but i can't get rotary buttons work properly.

In "Live" I have created a fader button. When I (midi) trigger this button with a fader on the Elation it works great. When I move the fader on the controller I see the percentage changing on screen.

But when I use a rotary button on the Elation as midi trigger, it only turns the button on or off.
To solve that, i used the Elation midimapper and adjusted the rotary button to send a controller midi message instead of a note on-off. (see attachment), but that doenst work. The button now only goes on, and stays on using the rotary.

So, whats wrong?

When I select the rotary as trigger, it automatically shows a "Controller", same as with the faders. So that seems ok..

The same happens with using a preset fader, i have the same problem.

Any idea?

Like it does with the midi fader, the position of the wheel from min to max has to set "data byte #2" from 0 to 127.

Do i have to do that in the Elation software or in Sweetlight?

I dont understand how to send the data byte 2.
In the midimapper i only have options shown in the picture of my first post of this topic.

Thanks

In your midi device, the wheel has to send a similar midi message than the fader does.
