[request] "Grab" Fader by reaching the same Value

Hey ;)

We all know it's possible to control the Scene Speed or sth. else by a MIDI Fader or Knob...
I think it would be a cool idea that you first have to move the MIDI Fader to the same Value as in the Software to Grab the Fader in Showexpress...

At the moment if your MIDI Fader is maybe on 50%
and then you change the value in Showexpress manually to maybe 10% the Value will snap back to 50% if you Touch the MIDI Fader...
This causes a visible snap :/

With the "Fader Grab Function" you qould first have to move your MIDI Fader to 10% to grab the Fader in Showexpress...

Thanks

Yes you´re right. A smooth fading (1 second) would be better.

Hm. I wouldn´t be fine with that. It would confuse to many people, especially new users. And sometimes it´s just easier to move the software fader, if you use the App for example.

Also be nice to use the scroll wheel on a software fader...

This Function should be activatable by a seperate tick box
so its just optional...

In Default mode this function could be disabled...

If we right understood, this problem happen only the first time you move the midi fader.
Afterwards, the speed matches always with the fader position (no more "speed" snap).
If yes, we think this is a minor problem.

It may pose a problem with motorized faders too...

Yes thats right. But sometimes I change the speed manual per mouse click, but logically the MIDI Fader stays at his position.
If I move the MIDI Fader now, It snap's again...
