Sorry if this is not the correct subforum to ask this, but I am wondering if/when the Virtual DJ plug in will be updated for Virtual DJ 8?

VDJ8 was a complete re-write from the ground up, so I'm assuming the "old" plug in doesn't work anymore. Also, it looks like your software recently had a major update as well!

Ok, that's just the SDK. I saw a post on their forum saying that you guys were taking over development of the plugin.

Are you guys writing a plugin, or are you expecting someone else to do so?

I am willing to look into it, but I may not have the entire command set or feature set of ShowXpress. I don't want to waste my time if something is in the works.

Right now, we made nothing regarding a new VDJ8 pluging.
We can not give any date for that job (we are very busy with other important new features).
So your help would be welcome.

I *wish* I could help, but all I can offer are words of encouragement.

And a suggestion, to start all I'd really like to see is a way for it to auto sync to the VDJ beat grid.

This is a huge lose for me

I really hope a plugin for VDJ 8 comes soon or I might have to switch to Freestyler which I don't really want to do.

Has there been any progress in this department?
