MAC OS / DMX Will Not Work with Editor, Live etc

Hi All
I have a major issue that I really cannot resolve and need some help with, it is kinda MAC techi if I am honest.
I have been using ShowXpress fine for about a month on my new MACBook Pro Retina. I did the following for installation just for background / reference
Downloaded & Copied / Installed Software into Applications folder as per instructions. Copied details from Windows workspace setup into relevant folders, linked up where I needed to, changed the App Nap status on all App files and it all worked find for about 10 gigs.
Then about 3 weeks ago I suddenly I started getting USB issues with the MACbook Pro, not reading memory card, stating errors and I spoke to AppleCare (being under the first 90 days cover...) who where quick to advise that there was a known issue which they could easily fix and they did a Disk Verify & Repair (which showed no errors, so not sure why they did that) PARM Reset & also Soft OS Re-install, which in all took about an hour and I could use my USB card reader again, so I though all was fine & I have been using fine ever since for personal use.
I did not use the MACBook Pro for about a week for gigging, I went to a gig last weekend and the Software just would not work.
I plugged in the Controller as per normal, started the software, into Live and I have no response from the controller, data link is active, USB power switch is fine & I have tested the USB cables & DMX in my old Laptop setup and all works fine (luckily I had a backup at the gig)
So the question I am asking, is that how do I get the software to work again with my controller. Please see below my steps to fix myself so far
1. Uninstall Software, Emptied Trash, Rebooted, Re-downloaded a new copy of Software from Chauvet Website, Installed, would not work, noticed that App Nap status is ticked (so presuming that MAC OS is using a dynamic link somewhere to remember the App Nap State by Folder name).
2. So Did 1. again and installed into a different named folder & still would not work, however App Nap Status was not ticked (Proved the Theory about the App Nap Dynamic Table Link).
3. Uninstalled again as per 1, did a PARM Reset before reinstall, still as 2.
Still not working, just power and data lights on as per normal and no response from software also notice that both DMX & 3D not working. Also noticed that the 3D images are not as I saved them, it looks like it is defaulting that element as my fixtures are not showing.
So now I am at a loss, I just cannot get the controller to respond on the MAC, it works fine on my Windows Laptop.
Can anyone with a serious amount of MAC OS tech knowledge advise on what library/private files do I need to change, or what I need to update the App Nap or how to break the Link to the Dynamic Software Table (or whatever it is called), or simply am I going to have to do a Hard Re-install, instead of a Soft Re-install.
Many thanks in advance
