Midi controller button trigger

I just bought a Behringer BCF2000.
I'm now using it for a while but I've got a problem.
When I match the buttons on my midi controller to live, something weird happens.
When I push the button on my midi controller the lights go on (good) but when I push again nothing happens.....
But if I push again, the lights go off.
It looks like the software thinks when i push on the button, it's the same as clicking on the mouse.
And when I push again the software thinks that i release the mouse....
Can anyone help please, i really need this fixed...

- first midi button press, the Live button switches on
- second midi button press, nothing happen in Live
- third midi button press, the Live button switches off
Please confirm this is so.

If you do not want to change the parameters of your BCF 2000, you have to set the button to "Flash" in "Live".

What do you mean with chanching the parameters of my bcf2000?
How can i do this...
Because i can't work whit the system wright now.
If I set it on flash buttons i can't youse my mouse anymore, and if you youse flash buttons than the solo button doesn't work anymore.

You can use a (hidden) page with "flash" buttons for your BCF and another page for your mouse

1. in order to switch on a button, Live needs midi message either "Note On", or velocity > 0
2. in order to switch off a button, Live needs midi message either "Note Off", or velocity = 0
Presently, your controller sends "control change" message:
- 1st press - velocity = 127
- there is no message when the midi button is released !
- 2nd press - velocity = 0
This explains the behaviour of the button in Live.
So we see 3 solutions:
1. you change the parameter of your midi device, in order to send velocity = 0 when the midi button is released
2. you change the parameter of your midi device, in order to send "standard" note midi message
3. you use "flash" buttons in Live
