For some reason this fixture does not work in 3D view. Problem with dimmer channel.

- "shutter" must be at 255
- "dimmer" must be more than 0
- "cyan/magenta/yellow" must be more than 0

In 3D view, the CMY channels are reversed. The light appears white with all CMY channels set to zero. DMX protocol states that 255 is open, 0 is full magenta.

I recently rented 10 of these fixtures and ran into the same problem in 3D.
These CMY wheels are subtractive, not additive, thus full CMY is NC, and full 0 is black. If I wish to mix Cyan I must have Cyan at 0, and Mag and Yel at full, 255.
Try as I might I cannot find a way to manipulate the CMY wheel in fixture Editor to present the colour mixing correctly in 3D. Sure I can just ignore the improper colour presentation in 3D and just rely that I have the correct colour selected in my preset for the real world but NC is black out. Is there a solution I am missing for colour mixing CMY that is subtractive, not additive?

It presently works like this:
- C, M, Y = 0, 0, 0 > white
C, M, Y = 255, 0, 0 > cyan
C, M, Y = 255, 255, 0 > blue
C, M, Y = 255, 255, 255 > black
...
C, M, Y = 0, 255, 255 > red
C, M, Y = 0, 0, 255 > yellow
...
C, M, Y = 255, 0, 255 > green
...
Please return the above text with same CMY values and your desired colors.
BTW, we found some unexpected levels in the CMY channels.
They are fixed in the attached file ; please use this file.

Here you go:
C, M, Y = 255, 255, 255 > white
C, M, Y = 0, 255, 255 > cyan
C, M, Y = 0, 0, 255 > blue
C, M, Y = 0, 0, 0 > black
...
C, M, Y = 255, 0, 0 > red
C, M, Y = 255, 255, 0 > yellow
...
C, M, Y = 0, 255, 0 > green
...
It is just the opposite. You have it setup for additive mixing and the fixture mixes colours subtractively.
Please note that If I bring up the dimmer and shutter with the CMY channels unactivated, the fixture is black.

I already deleted those values from the profile I am using. I only use your library profiles as a starting point to modify the fixture profiles to my needs and style of programming.
Thanks.

So I took this issue to other general lighting forums and the solution that came back is to run this profile by replacingvthe CMY with RGB. Why? Because CMY is RGB in negative.
So I modified my profile to an RGB fixture and now the fixture in 3D and the real world are the same.
However I only consider this a workaround of now understanding how CMY and RGB compliment each other. Though with these fixtures being more than 20 years old I don't know if you wish to engineer a "fix".
And if I am the only one that needed to figure this out, I can work with my modifications and can consider this issue as solved.
