Our "sound to bpm" function, which works under Windows, is not so much used because not accurate enough, and the users prefer to use manual bpm instead.
So we prefer to focus on other new nice features.

I'm with VMan on this... I'd really like to see this on the Mac version as well... I hate manually entering the BPM.

With recent version, you can sync with bpm from Virtual DJ.

Have you spoken with Serato to see how you may be able to get BPM information from ScratchLive?

I researched ShowXpress on a PC, I was especially interested in the sound activated mode and was pleased with the performance on the PC.

I like the program so well I purchased 8 Intimidator 350 Spots and 4 Intimidator 300 Barrels.

I purchased a MacMini to run the ShowXpress and a Touchscreen to run the "Live Program", as you know the Sound Active Mode is not available in the Mac Version.

I have spent a considerable amount of time and money to work around this issue (Parallels with Windows 7). The Mac runs great with ShowXpress and the Touch Screen but does not have the Sound Active Mode. The Parallels/Win7 gives me the Sound Active Mode but does not support the Touch Screen.

Please reconsider writing the code to implement the Sound Active Mode for the Mac.

Looks like the topic has other parts to it but my thoughts.

1.) Yes, it is not accurate enough when auto-bpm is used.

2.) I use OtsAVDJ. If there could be a plug-in with them, that would be nice. Their files do get analyzed and the BPM for the song is added to the metadata.

I have spent a considerable amount of time working with the Sound Active Mode on the PC. It is responsive however it triggers at the wrong frequency, It responds to the singers voices instead of the bass beat. Is it possible to lower the frequency trigger on future releases?
