Help Pleasee

the problem seems to be on the controlboard its self aswel
when you move the mouse over the controlboard icons the
picture in the middle keeps stalling just like the dmx is doing

when i unplug the usb and plug it back in again, in device manager it says
this device cannot start. (code 10)
i have to disable the device then enable it to get it the start the device properly

dont mind if anyone wants to remote desktop to have a look

would like to get this new system up and running then i can use it to gig with

thanks in advance

i dont know because it works totally fine on the computer next to it plugged into the same socket (vista 32bit)

anyway i have ordered a

Chauvet DATA Stream 4 DMX-512 Optical Splitter

is there anything else you can think of that it could be?

NEW UPDATE

i have done some tests myself this is what i have found .....

this is all with no dmx cable connected

in device manager if i unplug the usb then plug it back in sometimes
it comes up with a yellow triangle saying "could not start device"

with no box connected and i set up a simple slow fade and watch the dmx channels it works fine
if i do the same with the box connected the slow fade is jumping .....
  • no dmx cable connected
