The interface D512S was born when Windows 10 was the official OS of Microsoft, so its USB drivers meet the Windows 10 driver rules.
So the only thing to do is to upgrade Windows 8.1 with the Windows 10 USB drivers libraries.
Not sure this is still possible, because Microsoft stopped the support for Windows 8.1.
