my questian is in relation to a typical sound-to-light function of moving lights in auto-mode. I want to programm this function with the sweetlight software but I have no idea how to...
Starting point: Scanners and moving heads have usually auto-sound-to-light-modes (with built-in microphone) in non-dmx mode. This function usually plays a standard scene and there will be a change at the beat, for example changing the color, the gobo, the direction or speed... With this function you have suitable behavior of the light at louder, faster and silent, slower parts of the music.
My plan: I want to programm and play a scene with this function, specially for music with faster and slower parts, but I did not find a possibility in the software. Programming moving-light scenes with the generator and playing them in "Live" with the "auto-bpm" mode at 1/8 (or 1/4) beats seemed to be the solution. The problem is, that the software in "Live" can't play steps with "smooth transition" at auto-bpm mode. The software changes to „fast transition“. The "fast transition" (rigid steps) cause extreme fast moves (as fast as the mirrors of the scanner or motors of the heads can move).
My question: Is the impossibility of playing steps with "smooth transition" in autp-bpm mode a bug oder is there a logical reason? Is there somebody having an idea to solve this problem?
In this topic the problem ist discussed, but with another background viewtopic.php?f=29&t=2043&start=0&hilit ... transition
One solution, of course, is triggering different scenes manual, but that's not a solution for my question

Thank you a lot!
