Is it possible to point an entire universe at an artnet node's port instead of telling showxpress specific fixtures are at IP addresses?
Could the interface assignment screen be updated to select an ArtNET node Port as the destination of the universe?
ArtNET Universe instead of fixture

Noted.
We will check this possibility and get back to you.

Thank you!
Re: ArtNET Universe instead of fixture
Maybe an olf post revival, but I'm looking for the same thing.
I run 9.4.7 x64bits for Windows
I ended up noticing that the software "engine" (for lack of better word) sends the whole universe to the artnet node as soon as you "tag" at least one fixture with a node's ip, even if other fixtures in this universe don't have an ip node set to them.
Now knowing that, I now just set the IP to the first fixture in Universe 1, and if I need that universe to be sent to more than one node for any reason, I'll just set Node2 ip address onto Fixture 2 and both nodes will receive the entire universe.
However I agree this is a bit of a counterintuitive way of setting up the artnet's nodes config. The more intuitive way would be to set a list of artnet nodes present on the LAN, then have a way to just "check box select" which node gets to receive what universe. I don't see this as being huge fix, but it would be so much more convenient. (Same node ip must be selectable on more than 1 universe for multi universe nodes, of course)
I also realise that my method has drawbacks... It's faster, however if you need to delete one fixture for any reason, you have to think about setting the node's ip address onto another fixture for the signal to go through. That fix would also prevent that.
