The USB drivers and the versions of Windows

It is mandatory for us to regularly update the USB drivers, in order to meet the most recent security rules forced by Microsoft.
Each time we update them, we have to use the most recent OS libraries.

The theory
The USB drivers are supported by Windows 8.1 and more.

The reality
Some Operating System files necessary to run our USB drivers are missing with Windows 8.1, while they are in by default with Windows 10 and above !
Those files are not automatically installed via "Microsoft Update" service !!!
You have to install them by yourself and this is not easy.

Conclusion
We guaranty the USB drivers only for Windows 10 and above.
