Got it. Do you feel this will be done any time soon? Also what about better touch screen access? Only some screens are able to activate flash buttons. I know this is a hardware/driver issue mainly but any ideas of this eventually being a fix?

move the fixture without having to recreate the scene ...

When you say patching........ Does this mean we will be able to take a scene built for a fixture on channels 1-5 and move the fixture to 10-15 without having to recreate the scene?

When opening a scene in the editor from live...... If you modify the scene and save it, it does not save. Is this some kind of fail stupid safe or something? Is it an option? Or is it designed to only be temporary changes to the said scene? Thanks.

He says same problem in Editor and 10.8 is Mountain Lion?

Thank you for the reply. This is what I have found out.

*Dongle is plugged in at time of problem.
*No Anti Virus or Firewall software is installed on this computer.
*It is a 27"iMac 3.4Ghz i7 16gb of ram
*OS is 10.8.2

I am posting this for a buddy of mine. He just installed newest update on his MAC OS and can not activate DMX in LIVE. Button will not go green. Re-installed older version and is having same issue. Everything worked great right before update. Ideas? What other info is needed to help resolve this?

It would be BEYOND amazing if there was a way to "convert" scenes. For example if I made a scene for my movers. Another Xpress buddy of mine has the same movers. I could use some kind of "tool" to take my scene lets call it DMX channels 1-4 and CONVERT it to work with his system lets call it DMX ...

We all know multiple universes can be obtained by adding dongles. My question is can the dongles be mixed or do they have to be a matched? Such as a Xpress 512 and a Xpress 100?
