The Lighting Controller

I use Mixing Station app to control audio and it’s pretty great. Apparently it has the capability to midi output. So for basic dmx control - I’d like to create a few buttons that will trigger scenes in ShowXpress.

What do I need to do on SX side to make that happens?

The ‘NoteOn - Data2 = 127’ and ‘NoteOn - Data2 = 0’ messages are supposed to switch a button on and off.
As for the ‘PitchWheel’ messages, we currently don’t see any logical way to handle them.

Ok I’ve looked into it a lot deeper and figured out that this isn’t worth the trouble , unfortunately.

I’ve tried the Fit controller in all 3 modes: LV1 , Mackie Control , and HUI.

It says it’s a Pitchwheel command , and these faders are touch sensitive - even if they aren’t being adjusted, they send a midi message just for being touched - one ...

I can’t get faders on my waves fit to work properly. Do I need a specific mode for the controller? What settings for showXpress midi preferences? (Xtouch, Apc40/20, default)

What’s going on here? When I click New Scene, I get a bunch of active channels.

My workaround was to use palettes for xy locations. Then reference those palette positions in generator

I searched the forum but everything looks like it’s old. Is there a way to keep certain channels locked so they’re unaffected by other scenes?

New page, it has 2 scenes and set to loop. One scene red goes L. The other scene red goes R.
