Ok, thank you for the clarification.
Hopefully, the need for Bonjour will be addressed in a feature update.

Re: OS2L not working on VDJ2020
Thank you for the video link.
I was under the impression we could now link VirtualDJ directly with OS2L and not have to use Bonjour. Is this coming to ShowXpress?

Re: OS2L not working on VDJ2020
Thank you for your reply.
Yes I have tried the VirtualDJ setting you suggest.
But in the Showxpress preferences, if you enable VirtualDJ it tries (and fails) to load Apple Bonjour when the software restarts. And still doesn't receive the beats from VirtualDJ.

OS2L not working on VDJ2020 [fixed]
Hello,
I am trying to use os2l direct with Virtual DJ 2020 and cannot make it work. I was previously using it via Apple Bonjour which did.
And set up help or information about this would be great.
Many thanks
Gary

Re: Midi to control stepping through steps in a scene
And, possibly a long press to release that scene/button.One midi button to select the scene and multiple presses of the same midi button to step through the steps of that scene.
I would really like to see this added as an option. The new "beat" function is not the same thing.

Re: Crash while using Midi?
The usb cable which comes with our dmx interface is a good quality cable.
We do not think it will be better with another cable.
But you do not supply the USB cable for a Midi device, in this case the Akai APC Mini.

Re: Request - Ability to name exported lightshow
Agree, renaming a folder (which renames the light show) is simple. But for new users it could be impossible to work out that, that is how you are supposed to do it!
It really should be built into a light show manager part of the software.

Re: Crash while using Midi?
This specific software crash has not happened since. I did stop putting my radio mic near the data cable connecting the Akai APC Mini to my laptop.
However, tonight the Akai APC Mini stop sending midi signals. If I used the mouse to select a scene, the corresponding button would light up and the ...

Crash while using Midi?
Twice now I have been using ShowXpress with an Akai APC Mini when the buttons/faders just stop working. When I look at the computer, ShowXpress has shutdown. Restarting ShowXpress works fine and as expected.
I think both times I was using more than one button/fader at the same time or possibly in ...
